Once you begin to lightly blot the ink stain from the carpet you should start to see the color transfer onto the towel.

Apply enough to cover the stain and allow it to soak down about half an inch. Do it until the ink mark is gone. Repeat the process until the stain is transferred to the towel. You can combine rubbing alcohol and a bowl of lukewarm water to remove permanent ink stain on the carpet.

Keep blotting for 30 minutes so the alcohol has time to dissolve the ink. When the ink is gone rinse your carpet with a warm water vinegar solution to prevent damage from the alcohol. It will bring the particles of ink up. Once the area is stain free dab the area with a towel dipped in lukewarm water.

How to remove permanent ink stains from carpet moisten the ink stain with either rubbing alcohol or non oily hairspray. Repeat this process a few times. To remove ink from carpet wet a clean cloth with rubbing alcohol and gently blot the stain. The alcohol will penetrate the stain but it can also go deeper and harm the padding under the carpet if you are not careful.

Touching the fiber might further grind in the ink then apply a spot remover or carpet cleaner with foaming action to lift up. Pour some carpet cleaning liquid or any strong stain remover only make sure they have a foaming action. Blot everything and repeat the procedure again. Then rinse it with plain water.

Once the alcohol has soaked for a minute take a clean rag and begin blotting more ink from the stain.
